Process

Your new closet starts with a consultation which can be set up via email, over the phone or through this website. We will then meet to discuss your vision for your space and measurements will be taken. We will assess the space to design a closet that will meet your needs. A design and quote will be provided. The amount of time required for the job will depend on the number of spaces and the complexity but we will adapt everything to meet your availability and schedule the best we can.

The cost of your home storage solution is based on the complexity of the design and materials choosen.

Company Policy

Payment Schedule & Time Frame
75% for mobilization, when storage units are delivered to site and upon completion 25% is due. Large jobs there will be an interim payment of 10% and final payment will be 15%. Interim and final payments must be made in reasonable time (a day or two upon completion) or a late fee may be applied. Our time frame for small projects is normally one week from receipt of mobilization. If requested to rush the time frame there will be a rush fee to accommodate. Should any materials become unavailable to meet the time frame, it will be discussed on an extension of time to wait for the material. The initial design given is the recommended best use of space, if the client wants to make changes, this is possible. If client wants to make an adjustment to the design after or during installation it will be at their expense. All adjustments are done during the installation day; all revisits require an additional site fee charge plus the fee for the adjustment.

MATERIALS
All closet projects are quoted using oval nickel rods and do not have backing included. If there are drawers they will be installed with full extension drawer slides and nickel or stainless steel hardware. If you would like different rods, drawer slides, hardware or backing, then please specify before approving the quote and we can make the adjustments.

The most common/standard material used for closet projects is 3/4” white Melamine plywood at a 12” depth, unless otherwise stated on the design or quote. Melamine plywood and all other wood and plywood used in cabinetry building are not purchased treated for wood boring insects. We at Closets Etcetera spray all of the plywood purchased locally or abroad with Solignum as a form of protection. There is NO guarantee that any unit built from Closets Etcetera could not get a wood boring insect infestation and we are NOT responsible if this should possibly occur. Edging is on the face of shelving and all exposed edges. The units are made level and square, we do NOT accommodate to any uneven or unsquared surfaces that we may encounter. All units start above baseboards, none then a standard 3-6” above floor.

*We are not responsible for the removal of existing closet units, painting, patching up holes etc. If you would like us to do the removal it would be our pleasure to give a quote.*

ANY VERANCE TO CLOSETS ETCETERA’S COMPANY POLICY REQUIRES A FEE!!
